This restaurant is found on the lower level of the Fairfield Marriot. The bruschetta was fantastic, served on garlic bread with balsamic glaze, best thing we ate here. The menu is short, and mainly consists of pasta and sandwiches. The prices are higher than the quality of food, the pasta primavera (boxed pasta, ok marinara sauce, and sautéed veggies) was decent, but cost 18$. The wild rice side was good, pretty plained and not seasoned though. Overall the food was convenient and decent, definitely filled us up. They had several vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options which was a large plus. The service was not top-notch, but everyone was nice and accommodating. I would eat here again because of the convenience and satisfactory quality of the food.
Overall I would give this restaurant 3 stars, but I decided to give it 4 because of the vegan and gluten-free options and the amazing brushetta.
Rip-off. I've been practically living at this hotel because I'm working on a project at JFK airport.
I've ate everything on the menu at on point and it's the worst food ever, one night I ordered the chef salad and woke up 3am sweating and was on the toilet till the morning, ever since then I've had anxiety anytime ordering food if I have to because the area lacks anything available late.
Plus they just went up on the prices on everything by a average of $5.
I'll never order from this place again.
First of all, it's not a Mediterranean .. it's like a cafeteria quality "Italian" food with a few passable Mediterranean looking entree dishes thrown in there. I went down to eat dinner, bur everything I saw people eating looked like heated up or fried up frozen foods. And very overpriced for what they serve. ($17-23 for dinner dishes, 8-15 appetizers). I ended up just getting a pecan pie, which was 5.95..but it was very small, broken, with the quality of Wal-Mart pie that's about $8 for a whole pie. Even at a nicer hotels, or even at airports, you can get a nice, in-house made pie for only a bit more. It's unfortunate that this is the only option at this inn, which is not cheap either.
For a hotel restaurant it was pretty good. I had a Greek salad with Devine dressing! The dressing alone was awesome! Can we talk about it being a large salad and only $7.95?!? That is a steal in NY!To balance out my Uber healthy salad, I also had some calamari and boy were they GOOD! There was so much! It was fried perfectly with a titch of pepper and heat that made each bite better than the previous one!
The bar tenders took their time with drinks as I watched each one crafted with perfection while I waited for my dinner. If you're in the area- stop in for a good affordable dinner.
Had an acceptable Greek salad and a not awesome Manhattan here, but definitely better than venturing out when you're staying over for an early flight. I wish they had some healthier options on the menu (I was surprised to see that it's identical today as it was three years ago, according to some older yelp photos I looked at). As with a lot of airport hotels, there's not much in the area, so you take what you can get. The bartender was friendly and professional, but the space just feels strange and cheap diner-ish. But, beats dealing with La Guardia these days?
